Alberto Poiatti S.p.A. is a family-owned Sicilian pasta producer with a passionate dedication to regional tradition and quality. Located in Santa Venerina, at Mount Etna's foothills, the company has been crafting premium pasta since it acquired the historic “G&G Grasso” mill in 1985.
Founded by Alberto Poiatti, the business was built upon a legacy of artisanal pasta-making dating back to the late 19th century .
With support from his wife and sons, Domenico and Riccardo, the brand expanded significantly, inaugurating a modern facility in 2000 to nearly quadruple daily production—from 10 to 40 tons.

"Pasta Etna" specifically reflects a commitment to terroir: crafted with water from Etna springs, bronze extrusion for porous texture, and slow drying to preserve nutrients and flavor.
The company champions 0 km philosophy—using locally grown Sicilian wheat varieties like Maestà, Don Matteo, and Iride—and sustainable practices across production processes.
Operating on a ~50,000 m² site, staffed by ~35 core employees, the plant is equipped with multiple high-tech production lines, 11 packaging units, and automated logistics.
